Class Themes Blog

Our class has discussed and learned many important themes. Not only do they apply to our class but also we can use them later on in life. I feel it is important to know all these terms. They discuss things that are happening around the world at all times. We are living in a country of freedom and peace; however, other people around the world are not as lucky. Discussing topics such as the five faces of oppression allow us to better understand and be aware. Learning to classify documents as being related to social justice according to our class criteria was a big step to being informed.
