Hidden Culture

There is a hidden culture in the US. This hidden culture is that of the lock pick artist. There are many groups of people across the U.S who pick locks for fun. This is not for illicit purposes but more for fun and the challenge. There are entire contests just for these people. Just to keep pushing the limit. It forces you into a state of mind this is complete concentration and relaxation. I can vouch for anybody who is part of that community for I am a member myself. People feel threatened for it destroys their illusion of security. For a $50 lock that is supposed to protect your valuables to fail makes you realize that your property is not safe. For example my friend had just bought a $150 lock box that he kept going on how would keep his valuables safe until I opened it in less than 30 seconds. This subculture is part of a another subculture who thrives on a hack. By hack I mean bypassing a security system ranging from security programs to picking locks. This subculture will continue to thrive and become more and more popular.
