Our American culture is formed by a combination of food, music, celebrities, movies, TV shows, traditions, customs, laws, etc. Present minority cultures were uplifted and united due to the inauguration of Barack Obama. He brought celebration, hope, and happiness to the majority of Americans and this did not only change the way we of think of the United States, but it also brought inspiration to people of all ages. I chose a video from YouTube that has been circling around the internet and media because it depicts our culture and thoughts of our president today. It is a music video in which “our president” raps and sing in a very popular melody. A young boy who looks like Barack Obama makes up the words to this song and impersonates our president in a way that appeals to the teenage crowd. The music is hip and a part of our culture and this video shows how much faith and how proud our young nation is of our “first black prez.”
