Cultural Document.

For an example of cultural documentation, I choose a video called 'The Un-Funny Truth about Scientology'. The reason I picked this for my cultural documentation is because of the relevance of Scientology in a culture (a 'religion' made relevant by mainstream actors/actresses/other famous or socialite people). Scientology has sparked many controversy because of various reasons (their beliefs, the way the handle situations, etc.) and how Scientology has high-profile lawyers to deal with any situations in which its name is shown in a bad light. Within the past year there have been many protest against the "religion" often organized when a celebrity follow of Scientology has a movie/cd/production being released. This shows us a lot about our society and how some people interact within it as well.
