The video that I picked from YouTube is P!NK's music video, "Stupid Girls". This shows the perception of how girls act in America. Women in America have this picture in their mind to have the perfect body and the buy the most expensive accesories to be accepted in our culture. P!NK shows how women have plastic surgery or throw up just to keep that perfect body that America pictures women. The media is reason why women are so self-concious about their appearance.

I agree America does portray the image of what a woman is really supposed to be. Pink did make a good point of where it all starts in her video and that's from a very young age. People learn to love others and what people want before they even love themselves and what it is that they want. That's why many find themselves overwhelmed in fitting in and hurting themselves emotionally, mentally and even physically and then realize that they have lost themselves and fell into the fad of all fads: perfection, attention, materialism and false images of who we are supposed to be from who we really are which is who we truly want to be and that's when we are truly happy inside and out.
