Blog Question
In the reading assigned, Baghdad Burning; how would you feel and what would you do, if you had been in the blogger's shoes (in the begining of the Iraq War)?
Speaking as some one that would have been, and wanted (don't ask, we're just re-wired different) to be there, I think my opinion would be in favor of the Americans, guns blazing, spitting on the floor, smoking my cigars all geared up. Trying to put myself in her shoes would be difficult, as she said, she has mixed feelings about the troops, and I guess I would be happy to have the troops expel the "bad" people but after the troops being so long and my home having been turn upside down, I might grow resentment towards the troops.
