Discussion Question
Not just with the war, but how much do you think the media has on effect of your own opinion? As in, do you look for the media for advice on topics or do you go and find things out on your own?
I believe the media has alot to do with our opinions based on the fact that we rely on them on truth. We turn to them in hope they scoop out as much as they can out of the story. Hence, it's their job. I try to believe what the media tells me but I also do a little research myself. Is it true? Maybe, some or maybe not. All I know is that the information is there and if I am not knowledgeable about something I look it up and just analyze the two. But my question is, is the press being governed by some other higher authority to limit on what is to be exposed of specific facts under certain circumstances? For example like the F.C.C. when it comes to radio and television etc.
