Creative Response #2: Epistolary Essay

Dear, Mrs. R .Fuqua Davies
I would just like to say that you are a very interesting person. The things you say about Chicago and society I agree very much on too. I believe there should be more people like you open to change. Change I believe is a good thing and cannot hurt anyone I believe. I agree on how you say Chicago is an ugly city, yet has this mask, which makes it extraordinarily beautiful. I love the city and would never choose to live nowhere else. You come out to being someone who is far from ignorant, and I think the city can take away some of that ignorance with the whole diversity a city tends to have. There is so much Chicago can offer to it's people the diversity, culture, attractions, etc. I believe you and me share many thoughts one being our love for the city. The other being that world dilemmas should not stop us from continuing to want to live a happy life “...to let your life be frustrated and destroyed by something horrible that might happen...I mean, you have to go along“ (Davies, pg.183). I love how your reading brought me this content of joy that there are others who have same thoughts about life. I just want to say that you're a person who there should be more of in this world maybe then we would live in a world of peace and acceptance.
