1. I have just double-checked my lists, to make sure that I have recorded all of your CR1 posts. Since this is a "paperless" assignment, you can e-mail me for your grade. Also, we can discuss CR1 in our individual conferences in two weeks.
2. Coming Up: Your Oral History should be posted on the blog by Tuesday night (Feb 17). Below are the directions.
3. The Directions: You must create an oral history document by interviewing someone of interest (can be directly related to our class themes or NOT).
a) choose your subject
b) write questions that will inspire your interview subject to talk about ideas--the questions should be thoughtfully written
c) choose your oral history method (we have discussed three types)
d) compose an introduction that acts as a framework--include any information you think helps us understand this person
e) post your oral history document (either one page, single-spaced or about 5 minutes audio) on the blog
f) make sure that you tell your interview subject that this will be public--change names, if necessary
4. The blog homework over the weekend is CANCELLED. RN10 is POSTPONED.
5. Friday: We will discuss ST and create questions for our guest, Ursula Bielski. Monday: Ursula Bielski.
6. If you are posting with the name "Mee . . . Vee," you need to e-mail me your identity.
